Police are investigating the death of a pedestrian after a traffic crash in Melbourne.

“It seems to be a relatively isolated incident and I’m not sure exactly what the circumstances were that led to it.”
The fact it happened on busy traffic lanes in Melbourne, that’s just quite a scary thing.
“The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The accident happened on southbound cars at about 7:30pm (AEDT).”
We do know that the woman was travelling southbound on the main traffic lane when she was struck,” Chief Coroner Andrew Legh said.
Police said a suspect was not found at the scene.”
