There are a few things you can do to avoid being pulled over by police: If you are speeding, you should get out of the way, don’t weave or weave too close, and do not stop.
If you are stopped and asked to submit to a breathalyzer test, you will probably get a citation for speeding.
It is illegal in Tennessee to drive on a city or county street without a permit.
If you get pulled over, police will ask you for your license and registration, and they will give you your name and the speed limit.
If your speed is too fast for the police, you can still legally drive on the street and give them your license plate number.
If they ask you to turn it over, say no.
You can also try to get away.
If the officer asks for your name, try to ignore it, and say you don’t know him.
If he asks for a license plate, say “No, I’m not a police officer.”
If the officer gives you a ticket and tells you that you have to pay, tell him to get out and wait for a police car.
If this doesn’t work, call your attorney and ask him to represent you in court.
