CHELSEA’S new-look squad is already in trouble with the fans after it lost 3-1 to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
The Hornets are now just four points clear of second-placed Newcastle United after a 6-0 drubbing at the hands of the Magpies.
Newcastle boss Alan Pardew has been sacked after losing to Liverpool and Liverpool boss Steven Gerrard has admitted the club will struggle to keep pace with the top four.
Pardew was sacked by the club after just 11 games, while Gerrard has been dismissed by Manchester United after winning two trophies.
New York City FC have already been fined £250,000 after a video was posted of them celebrating their 2-1 win over New York Red Bulls on Sunday, while Manchester City FC were fined £25,000 by the Premier League after their supporters chanted “Get da f***** out”.
Pardews’ side have also been fined after a racist gesture was made by an opposing fan in a 1-0 defeat at Sunderland on Tuesday.
But the Hornets, who have only lost one of their last 14 games, have no problems with fans.
Perez said: “You can’t blame anybody for being angry at this time of year.
We’ve got to give a lot more effort to our players and to the coaches, because there are a lot players in our squad that are ready to go out there and compete.””
We need to do a lot of work in training to get the right attitude.”

“It’s not a matter of attitude, but of attitude.
I’m really disappointed because I think we have the best players in the league.”
